Hi, I’m Lauren — a proud mum to a fun-loving little boy and owner of one very lively spaniel! Outside the salon, I love the gym, but most of all, I enjoy making memories with my family and friends.

My journey into hair extensions began over 10 years ago. At the time, I was working as a care assistant — a role I loved, but it didn’t offer the freedom I wanted. Having always worn wefts myself and loved how they made me feel, I decided to train in hair extensions and turn that passion into a career.

After completing my training at Oakley Academy in Birmingham, I knew I’d found my calling. I started small, working from home on my days off, before moving into a salon environment where I gained experience, confidence, and a loyal client base.

In 2023, I took the leap to become fully self-employed and followed my dream full-time. I also qualified as an educator, helping other women build flexible, rewarding careers doing something they love.

Today, Hair By Lauren is not just about great hair — it’s about empowerment, confidence, and creating opportunities for others to shine.
